The Huntington
Huntington is a 120-acre research and cultural center spread over 12 specialized parks. Originally the private estate of Henry Huntington, owner of Railroad, this is one of the must-see cultural destinations in Southern California. Here you will find rare books, manuscripts, and Gainsborough’s “The Blue Boy”, Mary Cassette’s Breakfast Bed, “a brilliant copy of the Gutenberg Bible, Chaser’s Canterbury Stories, and the first edition of Shakespeare’s Folio.
