Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven Beach is an award-winning beach on Whitsunday Island.  Spread over seven miles of Whitehaven beach, it has some of the cleanest white silica sand in the world.  You can dip your feet in the sand and go to the warm waves that gently hit the beach.  Then you will soon understand why people from all over the world come here.
Located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, the Hill Inlet transfers tidal sand and water to create a beautiful color mix.  Many say Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach are the most beautiful places they have ever seen.  The best place to see the sand dunes at Hill Inlet is at Tong Point.  So if you do not mind a short bushwalk, book your tour of Whitehaven with an activist.
It can be experienced in several ways.  If you prefer a day trip, there are ferries, yachts, powerboats, and luxury yachts departing from Airlie Beach.  Various sailing companies also add an unforgettable trip to this place.
