Li River

The Li River is one of the most famous waterways in China and is located in the southern province of Guangxi.  The river originates in the Maor Mountains (Shingan Province) in northern Guangxi Province and flows south through Guangzhou and Yangzhou.
The ancient Ling Canal is also found in this upper part of the Li River, and the Li River section between Guilin and Yangzhou is considered the most scenic and beautiful.
